The Institute Certified Payroll Professionals (ICPP) Philippines recognize their responsibilities under the Republic Act No. 10173 (Act), also known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012, with respect to the data they collect, record, organize, update, use, consolidate or destruct from the participants/members/alumni.

Philippines recognizes its responsibilities under Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012). The participant’s personal data may be collected, stored, used, analyzed, and retained in accordance with this Notice.

1. Personal Data Collected
The participant may provide personal information such as name, email address, contact number, employment details, payment information, and any other data submitted through registration or participation forms.

2. Purpose of Processing
The participant’s personal data may be processed for the following purposes:

• Program registration, verification, and administration
• Issuance of certificates, badges, and records
• Communication regarding events, updates, and relevant offerings
• Participation in related certification programs, trainings, and professional development activities
• Research, data analytics, and future AI-driven improvements to services
• Compliance with lawful obligations

3. Data Sharing
The participant’s personal data may be shared with:

• Authorized personnel of ICPP Philippines
• Affiliated or related certification programs operated by the organization
• Partner institutions necessary for program delivery
  Data will not be sold or disclosed to unauthorized third parties.

4. Data Retention
Personal data may be retained for up to ten (10) years or as required for certification verification, alumni services, research analytics, and legal compliance.

5. Data Subject Rights
The participant may exercise their rights under applicable Philippine data privacy laws, including the right to access, correct, withdraw consent, request deletion of their data, and raise privacy-related concerns with the appropriate data protection authority.  

6. Security Measures
Appropriate organizational and technical safeguards are in place to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
